How to get to Milos



You can easily get to Milos by ferry or by air. There are several ferries daily to Milos from the port of Piraeus (the seaport of Athens) during the high tourist season, with less frequent departures in the winter. From Easter through the end of October, there are fast catamarans on the Milos route in addition to conventional ferries. The trip lasts 2.5 - 4 hours (catamaran) or 5 - 7.5 hours (conventional ferry) depending on vessel and route.

You can also get to Milos from several other islands: Anafi; Folegandros; Heraklion, Crete; Ios; Karpathos; Kasos; Kimolos; Kythnos; Naxos; Paros; Rhodes (Rodos); Serifos; Sifnos; Sikinos; Sitia, Crete; Syros; Thira (Santorini).

You may also take advantage of Olympic Air's lowest domestic fare from Athens to Milos. There are departures once or twice daily from Athens International Airport to Milos, and the flight duration is about 30 minutes.
